- About to ERSGI 2026 !
The International Conference on Environmental Remote Sensing and Geographic Information in 2026 (ERSGI 2026) will be held grandly in Chengdu, a highland of scientific and ecological innovation in western China. This conference focuses on the deep integration and cutting-edge application of environmental remote sensing technology and geographic information systems (GIS) in ecological civilization construction, aiming to build a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform, gathering experts, scholars, researchers, government managers, technical engineers, and industry application representatives in remote sensing science, geographic information engineering, environmental science, meteorology, ecology, urban planning, disaster monitoring, and spatial big data analysis. The conference will focus on advanced topics such as high-resolution satellite and unmanned aerial vehicle remote sensing data acquisition and processing technology, multi-source remote sensing data fusion and surface parameter inversion, remote sensing applications in land use/cover change, forest resources and wetland monitoring, urban heat island effect and ecological environment assessment, remote sensing monitoring of atmospheric pollution and water environment, integration of GIS and spatial analysis in environmental modeling, remote sensing observation of climate change and carbon cycle, remote sensing warning of geological and meteorological disasters (such as landslides and floods), real 3D China and digital twin city construction, remote sensing big data and artificial intelligence interpretation algorithms (such as deep learning), etc. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, technical demonstrations, and case sharing, we aim to promote the improvement and intelligent application of the integrated monitoring system for air, space, and earth. ERSGI 2026 emphasizes the core concept of "perceiving heaven and earth, intelligently depicting ecology, and serving sustainability", and is committed to serving the needs of national ecological civilization construction, "dual carbon" strategy, and refined management of natural resources. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in international journals indexed by SCI, EI, or Scopus to enhance academic influence.

All full paper submissions to the ERSGI 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ERSGI 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

-Submission Guidelines-
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to ersgi@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
Call for Reviewers
As a platform for global academic communication, the quality of conference publication has always an aspect attracting much of our attention. To ensure quality of our publication and to better serve the peers in academic circle, we now call for reviewers among professionals and experts of the world. Professionals and experts who hold PhD (doctoral) degree in the conference related areas are encouraged to join in us and together, we will work hard to become a world-class academic conference. SCI JOURNAL
